Real Madrid star reveals what he told Ousmane Dembélé after PSG defeat | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois has revealed the details of a message he sent the way of Paris Saint-Germain standout Ousmane Dembélé, on the back of the meeting between the sides.

Real and PSG of course locked horns late on Wednesday, with a place in the finale of the Club World Cup on the line.

When all was said and done, it was the latter who emerged dominant victors, running riot to the tune of four goals scored without reply.

Amongst the scorers on the evening was the aforementioned Ousmane Dembélé, whose charge towards the Ballon d’Or continued courtesy of another fine performance.

And yet, it was an altogether different aspect of the Frenchman’s game which caught the eye of defeated Real Madrid no.1 Thibaut Courtois…

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle at MetLife Stadium, shot-stopper Courtois was drawn on a post-match exchange between he and Dembélé.

And the Belgian international went on to admit:

“I went to Dembélé, and I told him that you press too much!”
