Real Madrid star has not travelled with Xabi Alonso’s squad for Club World Cup | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has not joined the rest of the club’s first-team squad in their trip to the USA, for the Club World Cup.

That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Endrick as the player in question.

New Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso’s squad departed their base in Spain’s capital this past weekend, making their way stateside to partake in the newly-formatted Club World Cup.

Los Blancos will kick their campaign into gear on Wednesday evening, in a debut meeting with Saudi outfit Al-Hilal.

As alluded to above, though, one member of Alonso’s ranks who will play no part in as much comes in the form of Endrick.

The young Brazilian was spotted in attendance at Valdebebas, Real’s training ground in Madrid, on Tuesday.

According to El Chiringuito TV, this comes with the 18-year-old still undergoing treatment for a hamstring injury suffered last month.
