Real Madrid star caught laughing at Barcelona’s result vs Leganés | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger could not help but express his happiness with the disappointing result managed by arch rivals Barcelona on Sunday.

Barca, of course, played host to lowly Leganés last night, in a La Liga clash in Catalunya’s capital.

The Blaugrana headed into proceedings aware that nothing but a victory would do, after being joined atop the Spanish top-flight table by Atlético Madrid earlier in the day.

When all was said and done, however, Hansi Flick’s troops again failed to get the job done.

In fact, owing to a wasteful performance in front of goal, Barcelona failed to even emerge with a point, blowing the La Liga title race all the more wide open.

And, as alluded to above, one individual who was understandably delighted with as much was Real Madrid standout Antonio Rüdiger.

Defender Rüdiger was for his part in Munich on Sunday evening, for the final of Toni Kroos’ ‘Icon League’ tournament.

In the aftermath of the showpiece, though, the German international was caught on camera checking Barcelona’s result on his phone, giving rise to a wide smile and laugh:
