Real Madrid star back on the exit ramp after Club Word Cup | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is no longer assured of his place in the club’s squad for the season ahead.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.

Former Arsenal man Ceballos is for his part fresh off what was something of an underwhelming campaign at the Club World Cup.

All told, across Real Madrid’s six outings, the Spaniard was afforded a grand total of just 70 minutes.

This comes despite the fact that Eduardo Camavinga was unavailable for selection owing to injury.

And with as much in mind, Ceballos, it would appear, could well be back on the exit ramp at the Santiago Bernabéu.

As per a report from Marca, with new Blancos boss Xabi Alonso not yet fully convinced by the talents of his fellow countryman:

‘The truth is that Ceballos’ name is back on the list of possible departures, especially after what we saw at the Club World Cup.’
