Vinicius Jr.’s future at Real Madrid has become a topic of much speculation in recent months thanks to the interest from Saudi Arabia.
The Middle Eastern nation want to make the 24-year-old megastar the face of their project and are prepared to shell out a ludicrous amount of money to lure him away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
There have been contacts between Saudi Arabia and Vinicius’ entourage, fuelling the speculations further, with there being a sense of suspicion in the Real Madrid dressing room that the Brazilian international might be tempted by the lucrative proposal.
Amid the growing speculations, though, Vinicius made it clear in a press conference on Monday that he wants to renew his contract and continue making history at Real Madrid.

Doubling down on that stance, the 24-year-old stated in an interview with TNT Sports that he is confident that a renewal can be finalised soon with the club.
“My future? I think soon the renewal can be finished. I have a contract until 2027. I have a lot of time, we don’t need to do things quickly,” said Vinicius.
“Florentino Perez trusts me and I trust him. I trust everyone at this club, who helped me so much and did everything for me. I’m here to do everything for them,” he added.
Vinicius’ contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2027 and there has been initial contact between the club and his entourage over a renewal but no concrete progress has been made.
Real Madrid, for their part, intend to address the matter at the end of the season and not get distracted by these issues heading into the crucial phase of the campaign.
