It appears that Real Madrid have made significant progress in their bid to sign Dean Huijsen from AFC Bournemouth in the upcoming transfer window.
As reported just a while back, Los Blancos have sent their formal contract proposal to the 20-year-old defender and his camp earlier today with negotiations progressing between the two parties.
Building on that, AS journalist Edu Burgos now claims that Real Madrid and Huijsen have practically reached a complete agreement over his contract.
Indeed, negotiations between the Merengues and the 20-year-old Spanish international’s agents have been ongoing for the past week and it seems like things have already been agreed between them.
Despite attracting strong interest from several Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, the youngster always had Real Madrid as his priority and the deal now appears to be in its final stage.

Furthermore, as initially reported by Gianluca Di Marzio and corroborated by other reliable sources, Real Madrid have also established direct contact with Bournemouth to finalise a deal for Huijsen as soon as possible.
Los Blancos have informed the Premier League club that they are willing to pay the youngster’s £50 million (€58 million) release clause in three instalments.
Lawyers from both sides are now at work to complete the operation, with the deal expected to be finalised in the coming days.
Real Madrid are intent on having Huijsen in the squad in time for the FIFA Club World Cup next month and if things continue to move at this pace, there is a good possibility that the 20-year-old will be on the flight to the USA.
