Real Betis dealt Isco blow ahead of Barcelona clash | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Sunday evening been dealt a blow on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that a leading member of the club’s midfield ranks will be unavailable for selection in their next outing.

Real Betis marked their return to action a short time ago, locking horns with Sevilla in the latest edition of El Gran Derbi.

When all was said and done, Manuel Pellegrini’s troops emerged on the right side of the result, owing to goals on the part of Johnny Cardoso, and Cucho Hernández.

As alluded to above, though, their eventual three-point haul came at a cost.

Early in the 2nd-half this evening, Isco was shown a yellow card by referee Mateo Busquets.

His fifth of the campaign in Spain’s top-flight, as much means that the former Real Madrid man is facing up to a one-game suspension.

And this ban, unfortunately for Betis, is set to be served against none other than table-topping Barcelona, next weekend.
