Claudio Ranieri will receive homage from a packed Olimpico on the occasion of his last home bench as a coach.
On Sunday, against Milan, the veteran coach will bid farewell to Roma fans in an atmosphere of great celebration and emotion.
The Curva Sud is preparing a special choreography, and the stadium will be colored with banners, chants and celebratory t-shirts to honor a unique career.
As reported by Leggo, Ranieri will also reach the milestone of 500 appearances in Serie A, entering the small elite of coaches with the greatest number of benches in the Italian top division. In the historical ranking, the Roman is placed just behind illustrious names such as Mazzone, Nereo Rocco, Trapattoni, Nils Liedholm, Luciano Spalletti, Francesco Guidolin, Walter Mazzarri, Massimiliano Allegri.
At the end of the season, Ranieri will begin a new adventure as a club executive, completing an extraordinary spell that sees him join two absolute icons of Italian football: Bruno Conti and Fulvio Bernardini, the only ones to have held the roles of player, coach and executive at Roma.
