Celtic are back in action tomorrow as Brendan Rodgers’ side make the short journey to Hampden to face Queen’s Park at the City Stadium. The Irishman will be eager to get minutes into the legs of his team as the non-internationalists have been put through their paces at Lennoxtown over the last week.

Rodgers doesn’t believe in friendlies and believes that each game has a purpose, he will likely use rotate heavily across the 90 minutes. The exercise is a replay of last season’s pre-season opener and the manager will want a similar season to follow.
