PSG’s Renato Sanches close to loan move to Trabzonspor | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches (28) is on the verge of joining Trabzonspor on loan, according to L’Équipe.

The Portuguese international returned to Paris this summer after spending last season on loan at Benfica, where he featured 21 times in all competitions. However, Sanches has not been integrated into Luis Enrique’s squad and was instead placed in PSG’s ‘loft’ – the group of unwanted players expected to leave before the end of the transfer window.

Two offers were on the table for the former Bayern Munich midfielder: one from Greek side Panathinaikos and another from Turkish outfit Trabzonspor. In recent hours, the balance has tipped in favour of the Süper Lig club, who are now expected to secure his signature.

Sanches, whose contract at PSG runs until 2027, joined the Ligue 1 champions from Lille in 2022 but has struggled to establish himself at the Parc des Princes.GFFN | George Boxall
