Ahead of their crucial Champions League semi-final second leg against Mikel Arteta's Arsenal at the Parc des Princes on May 7, Luis Enrique's Paris Saint-Germain hold a one-goal advantage thanks to Ousmane Dembélé's early goal.
The Frenchman who scored the decisive goal in the first leg, sustained a hamstring injury and is doubtful to start tomorrow's game, however, there is some hope that he can feature in the game as he made his return to team training today ahead of the crucial game.
Achraf Hakimi: " I don't know if it is the most exciting match, but it is certainly one of the most exciting because of the level and the importance for the club alonf with our individual and collective target. We want to win this competition. We all want to do that, and we are one step from the final. So there is a level of calmness, having already played in the semifinals last year because we know what we did well and what we did less well, as well as what we need to keep doing, and I think that has been seen in our recent games, and we will see that again tomorrow.
Achraf Hakimi: " I think you can already see it. He is one of the best keepers in the world, and we put a lot of trust in him. There was people doubting him but we have always been behind him, always supported him and he answered in the best possible way with what he is showing right now. In my opinion, having a keeper that that provides this level of trust gives you a lot of tranquility too. And in the dressing room, we can see his good attitude, how much of a good person he is too, and I think it's important to have guys like that in your team."
Luis Enrique: " Sincerely, I don't think there is a single line in the team that is superior to the other ones. And that is what is the best characteristic of this team, regardless of which players are missing is that the team is able to be competitive in every match. We just tried to repeat what we do, whether it is at the Parc des Princes or away from home, and that is not easy to do.
"We don't often see that. It requires a strong match principle and character. Even though we have a small advantage heading into this game. We don't want to leave anything to chance. We had the same thing against Brest and then we won the second leg.
"Arsenal have a one-goal deficit to recover from. It might seem easy on paper, but we are just going to try to repeat what we have been doing from day one until now. We want to be aggressive, so our personality on the ball and repeat areas of our play. With the quality that we have, I feel we have an advantage, and I am very confident."
Luis Enrique: " It has been two days that he was able to train with us, you have been able to see it in the training open to the public. And tomorrow, yes, he will be available to play."
Luis Enrique: " It's a very good question, because I don't know. There are several potential keys. But I think that show the confidence that we play with in front of our fans, in the Parc des Princes, because we all know the atmosphere that there is in these games here. So this confidence that our fans will give us, we will have to give it back to them, in terms of efforts, of mental intelligence.
"Which means knowing that we will suffer at some point of this game, because the opponents doesn't have a favourable result. So it will be like in the first leg, a game balanced between both sides. I think we will need to put in a similar performance that in the first leg and most importantly stay true to our philosophy that led us to this point."
