PSG v Angers: Official medical update, one Paris player ruled out

This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (2nd) will face Angers (7th) at the Parc des Princes as part of the 2nd matchday of Ligue 1 2025-2026 (kick-off at 8:45 p.m., broadcast on Ligue1+). After Friday’s training session, on the eve of the match, the club provided an update on injuries.

“The medical update for this Thursday, August 21, concerns Senny Mayulu. Senny Mayulu is continuing his recovery work.”

Senny Mayulu, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder who has been absent for 8 days, is still not quite ready. It’s a shame, as we’re eager to see him build on his good season last year. But there’s still time, of course. And it’s good to have only one player in the infirmary. Coach Luis Enrique has plenty of options to choose from.
