Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand players ahead of the summer transfer window. The 21-year-old has been in top form this season, tallying eight goals and 18 assists, and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed across Europe.

Manchester United are one of several Premier League clubs monitoring Cherki, per Graeme Bailey of TBR Football. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United are also said to be keeping tabs on the French playmaker.

The interest isn’t limited to England. Bayern Munich and PSG are also back in the mix, with both clubs impressed by Cherki’s recent run and considering a move in the coming months.

Moreover, Cherki was asked about the possibility of joining PSG—and he didn’t shy away from the idea. In fact, he hinted that a move to the French capital would be something he’d welcome.

“Would I feel good in a locker room with these boys from PSG? Oh yes absolutely, I know them all,” Cherki said. “Ousmane & Bradley are good friends of mine. When you have good chemistry on the pitch, it shows off off the pitch too.”

The Parisians could be looking to add another young French talent this summer as they’re linked to Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche and Cherki. Nonetheless, L’Equipe’s Régis Brouard stated that he would love to see the Lyon standout at PSG and why it’s more of a fit than Akliouche.

“Why go with Cherki instead? Because Akliouche, to me, operates more naturally out wide,” Brouard said. “When he plays centrally, it’s a bit more complicated, even though he can do it. Cherki, on the other hand, offers more positional flexibility—he can play on the right, the left, or through the middle. We were a bit surprised when Dembélé was moved to center forward. Why put him there? And yet, it worked.”

Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Rayan Cherki, according to a recent report from The Mirror. Several clubs are chasing the 20-year-old, but Manchester United reportedly lead the race to secure his signature.

Cherki could be available for around £20 million, with United viewing the French midfielder as a promising addition to strengthen their attack.
