Vitinha's deflected second-half strike helped PSG to start their Ligue 1 title defence with a 1-0 win at Nantes.
Scorers: Vitinha 67'
PSG had near complete control of possession in the opening half an hour, but couldn't generate any clear-cut chances against Nantes' rock-solid defence.
Les Parisiens eventually threatened the Nantes goal when Gonçalo Ramos shot from a right angle and rattled the crossbar just before half time.
With the score still level with 25 minutes left, Vitinha fired a speculative long-range effort towards goal that took a huge deflection and bounced into the net.
Vitinha teed up Gonçalo Ramos to lash in a second goal moments later before VAR intervened and ruled the goal out for offside during the build-up.
PSG required a stroke of fortune to edge past a tough-to-beat Nantes and Luis Enrique's side will hope to improve form here as they target a fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title.
