Liverpool are making a final push to keep Trent Alexander-Arnold at the club with a remarkable contract renewal offer amidst Real Madrid’s growing interest.
In fact, according to a report from AS, the Premier League club has proposed a five-year deal that would see the right-back earn an impressive €93 million over the duration of the contract, which amounts to €18.6 million annually.
This offer is intended to match, if not exceed, the financial package that other clubs like Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to present.
Despite the strong interest from Real Madrid, who have been closely monitoring Alexander-Arnold’s exceptional season, Liverpool are determined to convince their star player to stay.
The proposed contract would elevate the 26-year-old to one of the highest earners in the squad, second only to Mohamed Salah.
At €18.6 million per year, Alexander-Arnold’s salary would position him ahead of other key players like Virgil van Dijk, further underlining the club’s commitment to securing his future.

Interestingly, there’s a significant difference in the offers from Liverpool and Real Madrid.
While Liverpool’s proposal focuses primarily on a substantial salary increase, Madrid’s potential offer would also include a signing bonus, making it a more financially attractive option.
This added incentive has made Real Madrid a serious contender to lure Alexander-Arnold away from Anfield, especially given the player’s growing stature within the football world.
With Alexander-Arnold’s current contract expiring at the end of the season, the stakes are high for Liverpool.
The club hopes that their latest effort, by offering such a substantial wage, will be enough to sway the player into committing his long-term future to the team he has supported since childhood.
For now, Liverpool are hoping that their homegrown talent will remain loyal to the club and help continue their push for domestic and European glory.
