Inter have completed their objective of clinching the Serie A title and they have emphatically done that by establishing dominance throughout the season. Goals from Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram helped them survive a late comeback by Milan in the Derby della Madonnina as the Nerazzurri lifted the Scudetto in front of their own fans. Hakan Calhanoglu’s brace kept the party running for Simone Inzaghi’s men against Torino in their previous outing and they will hope to get a narrow win tonight to stay in contention to reach 100 points this season.

Meanwhile, Sassuolo are fighting for their lives to stay in the top division this campaign. The Neroverdi are five points away from safety but their defensive record has been one of the worst as they have conceded a staggering 70 goals. Davide Ballardini’s men need to start winning matches as with four games to spare this season, it is seeming like a gigantic task for them to secure survival. A 5-1 thrashing to Fiorentina in their last match plunged their morale down ahead of this clash against the Scudetto champions but Sassuolo will look to not dwell on their past performance and get at least a point versus Inter.
