Postecoglou reveals worrying injury news for Spurs ahead of Hoffenheim | OneFootball

Ange Postecoglou has provided another worrying update on the Tottenham squad ahead of their clash against Hoffenheim in the Europa League.

The Lilywhites have been decimated by injuries and are now set to be without Pape Sarr after he picked up a knock in training, joining Djed Spence and Sergio Reguilón on the sidelines.

"From the weekend, Reggy and Djed aren't available and Pape Matar Sarr, he's got slight knock from the weekend, we got Bentancur back. Romero was back in training but hasn't travelled. He's not ready yet", Postecoglou explained, though he is hoping to have both Sarr and Bissouma back for their Premier League clash on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Spurs coach also revealed that there was "nothing imminent" on the transfer front ahead of the final days of the winter window.

"The club is working hard to get some help for the players. As far as I'm aware there's nothing imminent but in the last week of the window things happen quickly."
