Despite sitting in ninth place in the league standings, AC Milan are still dreaming of a top-four finish as ‘just’ six points separate them and Bologna in fourth.

Thanks to two consecutive wins, and the rivals dropping some crucial points, Milan are now just six points behind top four. It remains a very difficult as well as unlikely mission, but the Rossoneri have a duty to believe with eight games left of the season.

As highlighted by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning (see photo below), there are some tough games left for Sergio Conceicao’s men, most notably Atalanta and Napoli. Juventus arguably have the easiest schedule on paper but the change of head coach could make things more complicated.

Bologna have a very tough run of games and the same can be said for Roma, even if Claudio Ranieri’s side have been in fantastic form lately. The main takeaway from the remaining games is that everything could happen between now and the end of the season.

For Milan, they will get an important answer immediately at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, hoping to continue their positive run at that stadium.
