In a January interim report the club stated that as well as acquiring Jota, and the temporary requirement of Jeffrey Schlupp, they also acquired the services of Kieran Tierney who will join the club in July.
Despite some clickbait social media sites and accounts mischievously suggesting it had fell through, our home grown hero will soon be starting his second spell at the club.
For theRangers supporters Peter Lawwell’s report will make their Monday even worse, something that they wouldn’t have thought was possible. The financial numbers are just incredible as Celtic powers away from the club that yesterday exited the Scottish Cup at Ibrox to Queen’s Park.

KT’s return in news we all wanted to hear especially with Greg Taylor looking increasingly likely to be leaving this summer. Hopefully Brendan will get his wish and sweet-talk Greg into signing a new deal, which deep down I reckon he wants anyway.

With likely Champions League qualifying play off rounds to negotiate this summer it’s imperative that we moved to strengthen an important area of the side and hopefully Brendan will have both players to utilise.

The left back position despite Greg Taylor’s solid and committed efforts has been a source of concern for us since, well since Kieran Tierney left to join Arsenal. To have him back, and on a free is a terrific bit of business by the club and to retain Greg Taylor would mean that Celtic have at long last sorted that left back problem area.
