This is already shaping up to be a poor season for AC Milan unless things change quickly. A telling sign of this is when wins are not convincing, and this season, they have rarely been.

Milan are a difficult team to accurately analyse in their present state. Wins against Real Madrid and Inter offer a mask that attempts to cover poor results like the ones against Parma, Torino, Fiorentina and Cagliari.

Four points in as many days is not a bad return, especially considering the situations – a draw against Juventus and a win away to Slovan Bratislava. However, in neither game were the Rossoneri convincing, and in neither game were there more positives than negatives.

Because of this, Carlo Pellegatti has taken stock of the current situation and attempted to explain the difficulties that are attached to this Diavolo side, and his words to TMW Radio have been relayed by Milan News.
