Parma win race for Hull City target | OneFootball

HLN are reporting that Matija Frigan is currently in Italy having his medical with Parma. The Croatian striker had been strongly linked with a move from Westerlo to Hull City this summer, but the Championship sides unclear transfer situation and their recent signing of Scottish forward Oli McBurnie suggests that the side had moved on from signing Frigan. Instead, the forward has earned himself a move to Serie A with Parma.

The link to Hull City had also centred around the sides current head coach, Sergej Jakirovic. The Bosnian took over at Hull City in the summer and was head coach at Rijeka when Frigan was part of the side. Frigan left the Croatian club the summer of 2023 to join Westerlo. After only five goals in 31 games, there were concerns that the sides record signing might be a flop. However, Frigan responded in his second season with the club, netting 14 goals in 41 games. He has already scored once this season but after three games he is set to join Parma.
