Barcelona will travel to Pamplona this weekend as they get set to take on CA Osasuna away at El Sadar on Saturday night.

It sets up for an interesting clash considering that Barça have won all of their matches in La Liga this season but Osasuna have not lost a single game at home thus far.

As such, Osasuna manager Vicente Moreno billed tomorrow’s contest at El Sadar as “a very strong team at home against the best team in La Liga,” praising Barcelona for their excellent start to the campaign.

Continuing, Moreno added that his team would need to play the perfect game if they are to stand a chance of defeating Hansi Flick’s brigade tomorrow night, describing the match-up as “very difficult.”

“To have a chance of winning we have to play a practically perfect game. We’re going to need our fans, every single one of the club’s employees and, even so, it will be difficult. We have to hold on to our chances,” he said.

Continuing, the Osasuna head coach added: “We know where they can hurt you and we’re going to try to reduce those chances. You have to be good and not let them have their best day. You can’t focus everything on one player.”

When asked if Osasuna would go for the win against Barcelona or settle for a draw, Moreno replied:

“Whenever you don’t manage to win, being able to get points also helps you. It’s much better than not getting points, without a doubt. We have to see it as an opportunity.”

Talking about the approach that his team would take against the Blaugrana tomorrow night, the Osasuna coach remarked:

“We’re not going to try to make any changes, at least not in our approach at the start. It’s unwise not to put ourselves on notice of where the game might go.

“We can live with the illusion that we can play 90 minutes inside Barcelona’s box, but that’s not real. We have our feet on the ground, but we want to be important.”

On being asked if playing against a club of Barcelona’s stature serves as added motivation for his players, Moreno said:

“It motivates us to play against any rival, but you can’t put on a profile that this type of rival can generate something special in the players.”
