Furthermore, O’Rourke reports that talks between City and De Bruyne over a new deal are set to begin in the coming weeks. O’Rourke further reports that a resolution on De Bruyne’s future should come before the new year.

Kevin De Bruyne has shown this season that he is more than capable of playing on with Manchester City.

There is little doubt that on his day, Kevin De Bruyne is one of Manchester City’s most inspirational players. He is a player that leads by example with his deeds on the pitch. It hasn’t been an unfamiliar sight during his time with the club to see De Bruyne will Manchester City to famous victories. On top of his incredible ability, he is one of Manchester City’s leaders. That has been a constant ever since he arrived at the club.
