After Andrea Cambiaso, now Daniele Rugani has also officially extended his contract with Juventus to June 2026.

It has been a busy day in the Bianconeri headquarters, as two players put pen to paper on new deals this afternoon.

While Cambiaso’s contract will run to June 2029, it is a shorter one for Rugani, who had been within weeks of becoming a free agent.

His future in Turin never really seemed in doubt, though, and he is now committed to the club until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Rugani extends Juventus stay to 2026

The centre-back turns 30 in July and has been on the Juve books since joining their youth academy in 2012, when he was only 18 years of age.

He had loans at Empoli, Stade Rennais and Cagliari before returning to base in the summer of 2021.

The Italy international managed 17 appearances this season between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, contributing three goals from defence.
