In-form Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been named the Best U-23 Player in La Liga for the month of January 2025.

The England international has been in fine form for Los Blancos and has been a crucial figure in recent matches, helping Carlo Ancelotti’s side secure three consecutive victories with his goals and assists, further strengthening their lead in La Liga.

The 21-year-old began the month with a brilliant performance in the 1-2 win against Valencia, where he provided an assist and scored the winning goal in the 96th minute to cap off an excellent match.

Bellingham was also involved in a crucial comeback in the 4-1 victory over Las Palmas, where, despite not scoring or assisting, Bellingham delivered an outstanding performance.

He closed the month as a superb assist provider for Kylian Mbappe in the 0-3 win against Real Valladolid, a match in which he also won a penalty.

The Real Madrid No. 5 has won the Best U-23 Player of La Liga award for the first time in his career, beating the likes of Javi Guerra (Valencia), Jesus Rodriguez (Real Betis), Coba da Costa (Getafe), and Ilaix Moriba (Celta) to the prize.

So far this season, Bellingham has featured 17 times in La Liga, registering seven goals and six assists. His total tally for the campaign, across all competition, reads nine goals and ten assists from 28 matches.

Bellingham succeeds his Real Madrid teammate Arda Guler, who won the award in December.
