Juventus have officially confirmed that versatile midfielder Weston McKennie has signed a new contract extension, which will run until the summer of 2026.

The American’s previous deal at the Allianz Stadium was due to expire at the end of the current season, on June 20, 2025.

Recent reports suggest he will continue on the same set of terms as he had previously earned with the Bianconeri, understood to be around €2.5m per season in wages.

It has been a summer of uncertainty for the former Leeds United loanee, as he was originally told that he would not be part of Thiago Motta’s first-team plans moving forwards.

Several weeks later, though, and not for the first time, McKennie has turned things around and has won his spot back. He will continue to train and compete with the likes of Khephren Thuram, Douglas Luiz and Manuel Locatelli for a spot in the starting XI.

With a tally of 10, McKennie provided more assists in all competitions than any other Juventus player last term. He is also the second highest American goalscorer in Serie A history with nine, three behind international teammate Christian Pulisic at Milan with 12.
