In an official press release, Juventus have confirmed that they will pay Vitoria a fee of 12.5m over four installments, plus bonuses not exceeding 2.5m. There will also be 1.3m in auxiliary costs.

Alberto Costa has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year contract, which will run until the summer of 2029.

He will wear the no.2 shirt for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Alberto Costa is Juve’s first signing of the January transfer window, but he is not expected to be the last. France international Randal Kolo Muani is also on his way over from France, and is expected to have a medical with the Bianconeri on Thursday ahead of his loan move from PSG.

Following long-term injuries to Bremer and Juan Cabal earlier in the season, Thiago Motta’s side are looking at adding two defenders to their ranks in January, which means that there could still be another deal to be done for Cristiano Giuntoli and his team.
