Juventus have announced that AC Milan loanee Pierre Kalulu (25) has joined Igor Tudor’s team permanently. The Serie A giants have triggered Kalulu’s €14m buy option after convincing the Bianconeri this campaign. Kalulu, who happens to turn 25 this Thursday, has featured 39 times for Juventus on loan from AC Milan. The French centre-back is expected to make his Les Bleus debut against Spain, tonight at Stuttgart in the UEFA Nations League semi-final, as a right-back. The Lyon Academy product has been a surprise inclusion in Deschamps’ latest squad, notably benefiting from the injuries of William Saliba, Jules Koundé and Dayot Upamecano.
Kalulu is now tied with Juventus over a contract set to expire in 2029. The 25-year-old’s season is far from over. After the UEFA Nations League finals, Kalulu will link up with Juventus in the United States for the Club World Cup. The Igor Tudor-led side will face Al Ain, Wydad AC and Manchester City in the group stage.
