Inter coach Simone Inzaghi says Lautaro Martinez will partially work with the team today, while Benjamin Pavard left ‘good feelings’ in a training session on Sunday.
Both Lautaro and Pavard are in doubt for Tuesday’s Champions League semifinal second leg between Inter and Barcelona at San Siro.
The French defender missed the opening leg in Spain last week due to an ankle injury, while Lautaro was forced to be subbed off during the break.
Inzaghi provided the latest injury updates during an interview with Sky Sport Italia on Monday afternoon.
The Italian tactician spoke to Sky before his official pre-match press conference, where Alessandro Bastoni will join him.

“Motivations are crucial, but you have to assess how they feel personally. Pavard did something with the group yesterday,” Inzaghi said.
“There were good feelings. Lautaro has been out since Wednesday. Surely he’ll do something with us and then we’ll make the best decision after talking to them and the staff.”
Inter will train at Appiano Gentile later today, following Inzaghi and Bastoni’s press conferences.
Barcelona are travelling to Milan and have already confirmed that Robert Lewandowski will be available for tomorrow’s decision at San Siro.
Lautaro is not only Inter’s captain but also the best Nerazzurri scorer this season, with 21 goals in 47 matches.
