Official: Barcelona name squad for Asia tour | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday unveiled the club’s travelling squad bound for Asia for their upcoming pre-season tour.

And it features several new names, as well as a number of up-and-coming youth talents.

Hansi Flick’s Barca squad are set to depart for Japan in short order.

After resolving the issues that led to them cancelling the first leg of their pre-season tour earlier this week, the Blaugrana are bound for the city of Kobe.

Upon arrival, the Spanish champions have been pencilled in for a friendly meeting with Vissel Kobe.

From here, Barcelona will make the trip to South Korea, for a further pair of friendly fixtures against FC Seoul and Daegu FC.

And as alluded to above, on Friday morning, the group of players called upon by Hansi Flick and his staff for the tour has been unveiled.

Summer signings Marcus Rashford, Roony Bardghji and Joan García all feature front and centre, alongside youngsters Jofre Torrents, Guille Fernández, Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández and Toni Fernández.

Despite previous claims to the contrary, Andreas Christensen has also been afforded a call-up.
