The exodus of talent from FC Barcelona’s reserve team, Barça Atletic, following their relegation to the Segunda RFEF continues.
The Catalans have officially confirmed that talented defender Trilli has left the club to sign for Real Valladolid.
“FC Barcelona and Real Valladolid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Alvaro Perez ‘Trilli’. The club reserves a percentage of any future sale of the Galician full-back,” the club statement read.
“The Club wishes him much luck and success in the future, both personally and professionally.”
Trilli joined Barcelona in the summer of 2023, arriving from Deportivo La Coruna and walking straight into the Barça Atletic squad.
The 22-year-old endured a couple of injury-riddled campaigns in Catalonia, which restricted him to fewer than 30 appearances for the reserve team.
Now, Trilli will move to Real Valladolid in La Liga 2, where he will hope to get his career back on track and make it big.
As mentioned in the statement, Barcelona retain a percentage of future sales and could stand to benefit if the youngster succeeds at his new club and secures a big move.
