Official: Antoni Milambo moves to Brentford

Congolese-born player Antoni Milambo is leaving Feyenoord for England, where he will now play for Brentford.

A new reinforcement arrives in midfield for the English club Brentford. The young talent, developed at Feyenoord, is departing the Rotterdam side to join the Bees. The English club has paid €20 million (plus €5 million in bonuses) for a player who featured in 43 matches this season, scoring 7 goals and providing 9 assists.

Antoni Milambo has signed a four-year deal with Brentford. “Antoni Milambo joins Brentford on a long-term contract. The 20-year-old played 42 matches with Eredivisie club Feyenoord last season, netting seven goals and delivering eight assists. Technical Director Lee Dykes stated: ‘Antoni is a skilful and forward-thinking midfielder, capable of scoring all kinds of goals.’” reads the club’s official statement.
