Nottingham Forest have submitted a bid for Brentford forward Yoane Wissa.
That is according to a report from The Athletic on Tuesday which details the lodging of an offer of £22m for the 28-year-old.
Wissa has 18 months remaining on his contract with the Bees, who value him higher than the £22m that has been received.
In 131 appearances for Brentford, the DR Congo international has netted 41 goals and provided nine assists.
Forest, who are just six points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, are keen to add attacking reinforcements this winter and Wissa is viewed as a prime candidate due to his versatility in the final third.
