Noni Madueke completes move to Arsenal

Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of Noni Madueke from Chelsea.

The Gunners are believed to have paid an initial £48 million (€55.5m), with the deal potentially rising to £52 million (€60m) through add-ons.

The 23-year-old was part of the Chelsea squad at the Club World Cup in the United States but left ahead of their final against Paris Saint-Germain to finalise his move to Mikel Arteta’s team.

Madueke joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in early 2023 for £30m and went on to make 92 appearances, scoring 20 goals. He played a key part in helping the Blues lift the Conference League trophy last season.

He becomes Arsenal’s fourth addition of the summer, following deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard.

His arrival pushes the club’s summer spending beyond the £100m mark as Arteta looks to build a squad capable of going one better in the title race.
