Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy set to decide Ange Postecoglou’s future at the club in the coming days.

Postecoglou’s position is uncertain despite leading Spurs to Europa League success this season. The North Londoners ended a 17-year wait for a major trophy after beating Manchester United in the final last month. That win also sealed Champions League qualification for next season.

However, their European run contrasted a dismal Premier League campaign. Spur ended the season 17th in the table, just one place above the relegation places. Their 22 league defeats was a club record.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that no final decision has been made on the Australian’s future. A decision is expected to be finalised in the coming days, though potential replacements have been discussed.

Thomas Frank and Marco Silva under consideration as Postecoglou replacements

Brentford boss Thomas Frank and Fulham manager Marco Silva are ‘both appreciated’ by the board at Tottenham, who may seek a Premier League proven coach.

Frank led Brentford to a top-half finish in the Premier League in 2024/25, despite the Bees possessing the second-lowest budget in the division. The Dane also combatted the loss of Ivan Toney to the Saudi Pro League last summer.

Silva has restored his reputation at Fulham, consolidating the West Londoners as a Premier League team after a recent yo-yo existence. Fulham finished 11th last season to secure a fourth consecutive campaign of Premier League football.
