Just over a month after meeting in Beaverton, Oregon, the collaboration between Inter and Nike reached another important milestone. Elliott Hill, President and CEO of Nike, visited Milano alongside Nicole Graham (EVP, Chief Marketing Officer), and Phil McCartney (EVP, Chief Innovation, Design & Product Officer) and a delegation from Nike's leadership team.
The group was welcomed at Inter HQ by Club President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta and Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci. The visit offered an opportunity to deepen the connection between the two iconic brands, whose partnership dates back to 1998. The delegation toured the Trophy Room, home to Inter’s most prestigious historic memorabilia.
During the meeting, several items were showcased to celebrate the shared journey of Inter and Nike. These included the legendary Nike Mercurial Vapor boots worn by Ronaldo in 1998, the 2019 Inter x Nike mash-up shirt commemorating the 20th anniversary of the partnership, the Inter x Nike x VR46 special edition shirt, and a personalized Valentino Rossi helmet.
The visit continued at the BPER Training Centre in Appiano Gentile, where Elliott Hill met with coach Cristian Chivu and team captain Lautaro Martínez, who presented him with a signed pair of Nike Phantom boots. Several other team players were also in attendance, including Nicolò Barella, Marcus Thuram, Yann-Aurel Bisseck, Nicola Zalewski, and Francesco Pio Esposito, further highlighting the strong bond between the Club and its long-standing partner.
