While several European clubs, including Bayern Munich and Aston Villa, have positioned themselves to sign the Senegalese striker, the London club has made its stance clear. There is no question of Nicolas Jackson leaving on a simple loan. The club prefers a deal that includes an obligation to buy, aiming to secure a future sale.

For several days now, Bayern Munich have been pushing hard to land the 24-year-old. The Bavarians have even reached an agreement on personal terms with Jackson, but their offer is based on a straight loan. This option was immediately rejected by Chelsea, who want to secure a significant fee at the end of the season. The board values the player at over £60 million.

New manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Jackson is free to leave. However, as long as no deal meets the club’s conditions, the striker will remain in the squad. "This is a decision for the board, we have to balance the books," explained the Italian coach, well aware that his squad cannot welcome new signings without significant departures.

Nicolas Jackson set to leave Chelsea in the coming hours

Early on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Nicolas Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, spoke out and confirmed the Senegalese forward’s imminent departure.

"30 goals in two seasons, without a single penalty. Highs, lows… but a new chapter is turning at the Blues. Always grateful for yesterday, but already looking to tomorrow with optimism. Germany, Italy, England: there are plenty of options, and the decision is imminent. Thank you for the support, we see your messages… Nicolas Jackson, transfer expected within 48 hours, in shaa Allah…," wrote Kamara on social media.
