Real Valladolid have not had an easy start to life back in La Liga, although their 1-0 victory over Valencia last weekend saw them move off the bottom of the standings for the first time in several weeks. One of the rare standouts has been defender Abdulai Juma Bah, who has managed to force himself into the first team after signing in the summer from Sierra Leonean club AIK Freetong.
Juma Bah produced a top performance during the aforementioned victory over Valencia, and on the back of this, speculation over his future has garnered a lot of traction – specifically from the Premier League.
And according to Sportitalia, Newcastle United have made the first move by offering €10m to Real Valladolid, who are expected to sign the 18-year-old on a permanent basis at the earliest possible opportunity.
Manchester City have also been linked to Juma Bah, which tells the story of how highly-rated he is. Valladolid will be very pleased with him so far, although they may only have him for a season at most.
