Cristian Chivu embarked on his third stint at Inter Milan yesterday, albeit in a brand-new capacity.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 44-year-old has set his priorities straight from day one.
The former defender is a familiar face at San Siro.
Indeed, he was part of the Inter squad that won an unprecedented treble in 2010.
Furthermore, he was in charge of the Primavera squad for three years before joining Parma last February.
However, Cristian Chivu is now the head coach of the first team.

Chivu has taken over from Simone Inzaghi, who severed ties with the Nerazzurri after a busted treble quest.
Despite being firmly in the running for three major titles in April, Inter finished the season empty-handed.
Much of the blame goes to the squad’s poor fitness condition.
Indeed, recurring injuries and a lack of fresh legs cost the San Siro powerhouse dearly in 2024/25.
However, Chivu is eager not to replicate the same mistake.
Therefore, he’ll focus on athletic preparation this summer.
But first, he must boost the team’s morale after a humiliating loss in the Champions League final.
