Nerves are starting to become a major factor for the Inter Milan squad as they are stretched to the limit in all competitions.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have been playing twice per week for some time now.
After the brief intermission of the international break, the month of April has been absolutely torrid for the Nerazzurri in terms of the fixture list.
And that has looked to have taken its toll.
This is the decisive run-in. Inter have been fighting on three fronts.
It is just two now. Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semifinal defeat at the hands of AC Milan has taken the possibility of the Treble away.
But there are still the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia to fight for.

In the view of Tuttosport, this intense and unrelenting schedule has taken its toll on Inter Milan.
Not just physically, although the tiredness has been obvious.
However, beyond that, the squad has looked to be on the edge in terms of nerves.
Tuttosport highlights the way that the Inter players were unable to control their emotions after Riccardo Orsolini’s goal in Bologna.
Meanwhile, the newspaper also notes the reactions in the second half of the derby loss to AC Milan.
It has become obvious now, Tuttosport therefore argues. Inter are just barely hanging on as they face the pressure of fighting on so many fronts.
