Nations League quarter-final draw: Spain & more learn opponents | OneFootball

European football’s leading countries have on Friday learned their respective fates for the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Nations League.

And a whole host of high-profile fixtures have been pencilled in for the tournament’s final eight.

Spain, for one, will be forced to get the better of The Netherlands in their hopes of retaining their Nations League title.

Should Luis de la Fuente’s troops manage to advance beyond the Oranje, they will then be tasked with ousting one of France or Croatia, also pitted against one another in the quarters.

Turning attentions towards the other side of the draw, and another high-profile tie is in store, between Italy and Germany.

This means that Portugal versus Denmark rounds out the fixture list, with the eventual victor set to take on one of Italy of Germany in the semi-finals.
