Nations League: Germany vs Italy – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV | OneFootball

Moise Kean is set to lead Italy’s frontline as a lone striker in their crucial Nations League quarter-final return leg against Germany, with the Azzurri looking to overturn a 2-1 first-leg defeat to secure a spot in the semifinals.

It kicks off at 20:45 CET (19:45 GMT) at Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

Head coach Luciano Spalletti is expected to make a key change in attack, with Atalanta’s Daniel Maldini stepping into the starting XI as a supporting striker behind Kean, replacing Giacomo Raspadori.

In defence, Spalletti has to make another forced change after losing Riccardo Calafiori to injury in the first leg at San Siro. Alessandro Buongiorno will take Calafiori’s place in the defensive trio, joining Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Alessandro Bastoni.

The midfield is expected to feature Nicolò Barella, Samuele Ricci, and Sandro Tonali, with Inter’s Davide Frattesi likely to provide a second-half option from the bench.

For Germany, head coach Julian Nagelsmann is likely to stick with Oliver Baumann in goal. In attack, former Genoa midfielder Nadiem Amiri is expected to start in Germany’s offensive trio behind lone striker Jonathan Burkardt.
