Napoli are set for a new round of negotiations with Manchester United for former Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund according to reports in Italy, and while the Partenopei are open to a loan with an obligation to buy, they are still hoping to link that obligation to a minimum number of appearances, but United are not.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, there will be a new round of talks between Napoli and Man United on Tuesday evening.
The two clubs will discuss the possibility of a move for Hojlund on loan with an obligation to buy. Tuesday’s report claims that Napoli are still hoping to arrange a deal where they are obliged to purchase Hojlund after a certain number of appearances, while United are hoping to agree a loan with an unconditional obligation to buy.

Hojlund has been identified as Napoli’s first-choice option to replace the injured Romelu Lukaku, who is expected to miss three to four months of action after limping out of the club’s final pre-season friendly of the summer: A 2-1 win over Olympiacos.
There have even been reports in Italy that former United midfielder Scott McTominay has been on the phone in an attempt to convince Hojlund to join him at Napoli.

It is understood that Napoli are prepared to pay a fee in the region of €45m to sign Hojlund on a permanent basis.
