Following a series of protracted negotiations, Napoli have finally struck an agreement with Manchester United to sign midfielder Scott McTominay.
The 27-year-old has been the subject of plenty of interest this summer, with Fulham having two bids rejected for his services.
And David Ornstein of the Athletic now reports that Antonio Conte’s Napoli have struck a deal worth £25.4m plus a percentage of any future sale going to United in order to secure his services.
McTominay is yet to agree personal terms with the Partenopei but has just 12 months remaining on his current contract at Old Trafford.
His sale, which is classified as complete profit for United due to the Scotland star’s homegrown status, could also open the door for them to pursue a late move for PSG’s Manuel Ugarte.
Napoli remain hopeful that McTominay will be joined by international colleague Billy Gilmour as well as Romelu Lukaku.
Sporting director Giovanni Manna has been in England all weekend attempting to finalise deals for all three players.
