Napoli nearing Jonathan David agreement as Juventus attempt late swoop | OneFootball

Napoli look close to completing a move for Jonathan David (25), according to a report from Sky Sports News. The Canadian will be a free agent this summer, with his contract at Lille OSC coming to an end.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano earlier this month, the most concrete and advanced option for the Canada international is Napoli.

As per L’Équipe, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Juventus are all interested in a move for David, whose contract expires at the end of next month. The centre-forward has already played his final game for LOSC and has publicly confirmed his departure.

Romano reported over the weekend that there were set to be fresh rounds of talks between David’s camp and the recently crowned champions of Italy. Sky Sports News understands that an agreement between the two parties is close, however, Juventus, at the last minute, have made contact with the player’s representatives and are trying to do a deal.
