Jack Grealish is reportedly commanding interest from clubs in Italy, England, Saudi Arabia, and the United States as the summer transfer window approaches.

Grealish has struggled for regular game time again this season owing to injuries and Pep Guardiola preferring the likes of Savinho, Bernardo Silva, Jeremy Doku and recently even January signing Omar Marmoush on the wings.

The £100 million signing from 2021 played a starring role in the historic, treble-winning season for Manchester City but has failed to kick on from the 2022-23 season – when he was one of the first names on Guardiola’s teamsheet.

Hugo Viana is set to take over from Txiki Begiristain as director of football in the coming months and the Portuguese is believed to be conducting a thorough audit of Guardiola’s existing list of options in all positions.

Grealish has two years remaining on his lucrative deal at the Etihad Stadium and remains one of the highest earners at Manchester City, whose board are keen to trim the wage bill and have decided to let Kevin De Bruyne leave at the end of the season.

Amidst the ongoing speculation around his future, Guardiola handed Grealish a rare start in the FA Cup semi-final as goals from Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol helped Manchester City beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 and set up an FA Cup final date with Crystal Palace at Wembley.

According to a new report from The Sun, Napoli are tracking Jack Grealish amid growing uncertainty over his Manchester City future following a difficult season due to injury and fitness problems.

Napoli manager Antonio Conte is said to be a ‘huge fan’ and believes Grealish would be a marquee signing while helping his side make the next step and become UEFA Champions League contenders next season.

In terms of rival suitors for the 29-year-old, the report points out that both Tottenham and Aston Villa have been previously linked although Manchester City are reluctant to let a Premier League club have their Treble winner.

Clubs in the United States and Saudi Arabia are also said to be monitoring Jack Grealish, but the player himself still believes he can still play at the very highest level and become a regular starter for England once more.

With that being said, The Sun claims that Grealish is open-minded to leaving the Etihad Stadium and a switch abroad is believed to be his preference rather than staying in the Premier League.

Grealish’s FA Cup semi-final start is understood to have been seen as a positive step by members of the England international’s camp, who has lost his place in the National Team squad and was snubbed by new Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel in his first squad as England manager earlier in the year.

However, it is likely that Manchester City decide to part ways with Grealish in the summer after just one season out of four where the former Aston Villa captain has justified the financial investment made to secure his club-record arrival in the summer of 2021.
