Jean-Louis Gasset gets his latest stint as Montpellier HSC manager underway with a derby against Toulouse FC. He is without several key players for the encounter.

Notably, Gasset is dealing with a crisis in defence. Becir Omeragic is out injured, as are Christopher Jullien and Boubakar Kouyaté, whilst Stefan Dzodic is out through suspension. Montpellier’s options are therefore highly limited. In midfield, Joris Chotard and Khalil Fayad, both of whom are also key performers for La Paillade, are also out.

That means that Jordan Ferri will return in the midfield. He will play alongside RC Strasbourg Alsace loanee Rabby Nzingoula. Further forward, Wahbi Khazri will also return to the starting line-up with Musa Al-Taamari set to drop to the bench against Le TéFéCé.
