MN: Probable Milan XI for Feyenoord repeat – Terrific Trio hope for further redemption | OneFootball

AC Milan have a huge test tomorrow evening at San Siro. As it stands, Feyenoord will progress in the Champions League and the Rossoneri must change their tune.

Things have not gone to plan in Europe recently. Despite an excellent opening, Milan are now in real danger of bowing out of the competition to Dutch side Feyenoord, which everyone is keen to avoid, especially the management.

As Milan News reports, a two-goal swing is needed, and Sergio Conceicao is taking a calculated risk to try and get a result.

In attack, the ‘Fab Four’ will become the Terrific Trio, as Christian Pulisic is set to miss out from the start. While the winger has trained, he is not fully fit so will not start, so Yunus Musah will take his place on the right of a 4-4-2.

Santiago Gimenez and Joao Felix will lead the line with Rafael Leao supporting from the left.

In central midfield, Conceicao is set to rely on his two main men once again – Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders, though this could mean that the system is slightly different – perhaps a 4-2-3-1 with the Dutchman behind Gimenez.

Defensively there will be no changes to Conceicao’s ideal back four, so we will see the return of the Fikayo Tomori and Strahinja Pavlovic pairing.

Predicted Milan XI (4-4-2): Maignan; Walker, Pavlovic, Tomori, Theo; Musah, Fofana, Reijners, Leao; Gimenez, Felix.
