AC Milan will be back on the field in two days against Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, and some clues about the team have come from training.
With the league table not smiling, Milan will have to use the game to build momentum ahead of the Coppa Italia final against Bologna scheduled for May 14 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. In this sense, MilanNews report that there will still be two opportunities to test out the 3-4-3.
Given the results, it is inevitable for Sergio Conceicao to keep the same formation. The Rossoneri have won three of the four games since they adopted this formation and in the only defeat (at home against Atalanta) they also conceded the only goal, compared to the nine scored.
It will be important to continue to put minutes in the tank with this new tactical system, in view of the final against Bologna. In addition to Monday’s match against Genoa, there will also be the league match against the Rossoblu, which will precede the final act of the Coppa Italia.
Despite all of the above, there are currently two dilemmas. The first concerns the striker: Luka Jovic is back in full training but is not at 100%, so it will be a choice between Tammy Abraham and Santi Gimenez. The Englishman has the advantage.
The other doubt concerns the right side: Alex Jimenez has deservedly earned his place in the starting line=up but now Kyle Walker is back from injury and could find his place in the starting line-up again. The rest will stay the same.
