Milan are pushing forward with negotiations for Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra, hoping to get it done for €20m, quite apart from Granit Xhaka and Luka Modric.
The 22-year-old is a primary choice to replace Tijjani Reijnders next season following the massive sale to Manchester City.

This is only part of the revamp for the Rossoneri under new coach Max Allegri, who has also secured Modric as a free agent from Real Madrid and is reportedly very close to getting Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen too.

Guerra brings more youth and verve to the middle of the park, and is currently playing for Spain at the European Under-21 Championship.
According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations intensified today and there is still no agreement, because Milan’s offer is a maximum of €20m including add-ons, which is significantly lower than the asking price of €25m.
The clubs are still working on the details and hope to reach an agreement soon.
Guerra contributed three goals and three assists in 36 LaLiga appearances for Valencia this season.
He has also attracted some interest from Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid.
